HISTORY OF THE BEREA-BARRANQUILLA CHURCH

THE BEGINNING OF THE STORY
The Berea-Barranquilla Church was born in the heart of God when He brought pastor Gabriel Ferrer to this city in the Colombian Caribbean, and he was converted to Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit in April 1999. He had already settled in Barranquilla when he moved to the first house of the Lord, the pastor's house in the neighborhood of Los Nogales, where the Lord gave him the pastoral call, which he did not want at that time. It was a moment of trial with his son, and the Lord told him, "Take care of my work, and I will take care of your son." In this house, the river of the Word of God flowed in many visits in watches and fasts. The Holy Spirit, the teacher, the Anointing that teaches (1 John 2: 27) guided pastor Gabriel in the truth of the Word, opened to him the Eternal Kingdom in the Scriptures and the key of knowledge, the main promise, which is the holy descendants multiplied eternally.
It was in the pastor's house where in 2010, the Lord commanded pastor Gabriel to open the Berean Church and gave him the first mission to preach against the apostasy; it was in the pastor's house where the Lord gave him the second mission in the middle of the trial with his daughter; the pastor asked the Lord Jesus Christ "when are you coming?" And the King answered, "It will be a little while longer". Here God gave him the mission of announcing the coming of Christ in the Rapture.

It was in the pastor's house where the Lord gave him the third mission to announce his immutable and eternal promises and taught him with the Holy Spirit that he had given them through irrevocable eternal covenants, which guarantee the fulfillment of those promises when we are glorified and go to the New Jerusalem. It was in the pastor's house where the Lord gave pastor Gabriel the mission to announce the judgments over the apostate Church, to whom he preached and taught for years, within whom the King already executed the judgment of forsakenness. It was in the pastor's house where the Lord gave powerful praises that he came down from His throne for us to worship Him with His sung Word. It was in the pastor's house where the Lord gave pastor Gabriel and Berea three gifts: the Psalter, the book of the Eternal Kingdom, and the calendar. It is in the parsonage where glorious events will take place...
HOW DID BEREA-BARRANQUILLA CHURCH WAS BORN?
Before the church was born, the Lord founded Berea ministries in Barranquilla with the teaching of His Word from the University of Atlántico with the first diploma course, "Biblical Hermeneutics," in the second semester of 2008. In prayer, the Lord told pastor Gabriel, "I am going to teach how to read my Word in Barranquilla because the Church has stopped reading and interpreting my Word with my Holy Spirit, and that is why they have twisted it and have fallen into apostasy, into false doctrines." The first diploma course was a miracle because, in Colombia, it was the first time that a public University opened a Bible study since it has been the privileged space of atheism and agnosticism. One day, while pastor Gabriel was walking through one of the courtyards of the University, he was approached by the dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences and told the pastor that two years ago, she had heard about a proposal for a diploma course that he had made and that she wanted to proceed with that proposal. This unconverted dean was the instrument that God used to get the biblical studies approved and opened at the University of Atlántico. In that same year, the Lord told pastor Gabriel in prayer to open Berea Theological Research and Study Group, which was approved by Colciencias that same year. This research group was the first of its kind in a public university in Colombia.

After this diploma course, biblical studies continued. In 2009 there were two more: "Biblical Theology" and "Pauline Epistles"; at the beginning of 2010, the diploma course "Biblical Homiletics" was done; at this time, pastor Gabriel bought the house in Ciudad Jardin neighborhood (Barranquilla) to open a Christian school; but the plans of the Lord were different because, during this diploma course, the Lord ordered pastor Gabriel to open Berea Church which was born on Sunday, March 26th, 2010, after a total fast of three days that pastor Gabriel did by the Lord's order.
In the second semester of 2010, Berea carried out the diploma course in "Biblical Eschatology," which was also taught in Monteria, a city that received the teaching of the diploma course in "Biblical Homiletics" as well. The teaching work continued until the last diploma course, "The Church, Israel, and the Nations: The End Times" which ended in 2020. It was 12 years of teaching through diploma courses from the Universidad del Atlántico to which God added the Biblical Theological and Community Training Program that was born in this university in 2011, another miracle of the King because God used the rector of the University of Atlántico at that time, and it was approved in the Academic Council as a proposal of Social Projection of the Berea research group. This program was carried out in many churches in Barranquilla, Baranoa, Sabanalarga, and Isabel Lopez; in these last two towns, the fruit of the Bible study was the birth of the Berea-Isabel Lopez Church and the Berea-Sabanalarga Church.
But the miracles did not stop because the Lord was pleased to give us a powerful psalter of his sung Word; because the test with Lays in 2016 unfolded into a river of praise that bore fruit in 2017 with "Pronto vendré (I will come soon)," and continued with "Rios 3 (Rivers 3)" and continues with the river that is flowing in the Well of Living Waters.
The miracles continued because the Lord was pleased to publish the teaching of His Word through books with the Editorial Seal of the University of Atlántico; it was the first time that a public university published books with biblical studies of sound doctrine. The miracle became more evident when in 2020, the same University of Atlántico informed pastor Gabriel that the Editorial Seal would publish two books, "Christology" and "Biblical Counseling." During 2019 and 2020, the teaching of the Word intensified because the Lord allowed the first Biblical and Theological Congress to be done in Barranquilla from the University of Atlántico which was replicated in 9 places in Colombia: Baranoa, Sincelejo, Magangué, Ciénaga, Puerto Colombia, Distracción, Riohacha, Santa Marta and Valledupar.
In these congresses, the Lord exhorted all the apostate churches to repent to prepare themself for His coming in the Rapture; Berea preached and taught the eternal promises and judgments in the 10 conferences that were reiterated in the 10 congresses. But all the apostates who went to the congresses, seminars, diploma courses, and Biblical training program did not want to repent but rather hardened their necks and closed their ears and hearts not to hear or receive the love of the truth so they might be saved, the true love which is to love the Word (1 John 5: 2-3; John 14: 21) and to teach it, which is an eternity of life. All those who attended the diploma courses, the Biblical, Theological and Community Training Program, the congresses and seminars, and did not want to repent but continued preaching apostasy, pacts and sowing with money, psychology, material prosperity, the kingdom of this Earth, of this world, all these apostates have already been forsaken, cut off from the good olive tree (Rom 11:22), they have been vomited out (Rev 3: 16), and every certificate they received is a judgment upon their head; therefore the judgment of Jezebel will fall upon them (Rev 2: 22-23).
In the last studies of 2019 and 2020, Berea announced that the judgment of forsakenness was coming for the apostate churches. Still, in 2018, the Lord had already announced this judgment through pastor Gabriel in "Jesus Christ's Word to the pastors and churches all over the world." And the judgment came, and they were cut off, vomited out, cast out; the apostates are not Church, the lampstands has been taken away from them (Rev 2: 5), because they have received a bill of divorcement from the Lord.
It was an abundance of the Word that the Lord poured out in Barranquilla and the Caribbean through Berea. Therefore, the Lord in 2022 told us: There is a fold that loves the Beloved, that desires the Beloved, that desires the Father's house, which the Beloved has offered, that loves the inheritance and has laid aside everything to take that inheritance; and she cares for nothing but to go to the Beloved is, and she doesn't mind being struck by the watchmen (Sol 5: 7), but go on, go on and so you have gone on Berea church, your love, your love, your love, your love was made evident all over the Earth, your love shook Hell, your love Berea, the first love, because the first love, the one in Song of Solomon is to love the Word and to teach it. And the devil said: "There is no church like that, does not exist, there is none," and I said: "Yes, there is, and that is the firstfruit to awaken the first love in many, and it has awakened," oh, because there is one that says: "Here comes my Beloved, I long for the Beloved, I desire the Beloved, I love the Beloved, oh, do not stir up from, do not wake up the love until He wants to (Sol 2: 7b)." There is one, yes there is one, my little one, the one who every day with a broken heart says to me: "Come, Lord, come, come; Lord, when are you going to say 'rise up'? Who is Berea: those who waited in the daydream of love, it is the Church of the daydream. Who is Berea: those who waited in the daydream, it is the Church of the daydream. Who is Berea? It is the Church of the dreaming, the Church that longs only for its Beloved, the Church whose love was poured out all over the Earth, the love for the King, and that love has broken chains. Who is Berea? That is the Church of those little ones who want nothing on this Earth. Who is Berea? It is the Church that has waited with patience. Who is Berea? It is the one I used to reveal to her the Eternal Kingdom, the promises, the inheritance. Who is Berea? It is the Church where I poured out my psalter, where I poured out melodies, and where I will give the melody of the call in the mouth of the servant. Who is Berea? The one who will receive the one sent. Who is Berea? She who is going to sing "Viene mi Amado (My Beloved is coming)," with melismas, with heavenly sounds of joy, of joy, because those sounds that are there are of joy. Who is Berea? The one of the priesthood. Who is Berea? She who holds on, holds on to her King, she who does not give up, she who loves, she who loves her Beloved, she of the first love.
Who stops the Word of the Lord? No one. That is why Berea continues preaching, teaching, and singing, worshiping the King of kings and Lord of lords, through all the powerful means that He has granted us, especially the Well of Living Waters, that is: The channel Berea Films Barranquilla, the channel Ministerio Berea Barranquilla and the website ministeriobereabarranquilla.com. THE NEW BEREA’S NOTICE

In 2010, God gave the name of our church, "Berea Christian Church," to pastor Gabriel with the verse of Hebrews 4:12: «For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.» This name and this verse were in the notice that pastor Gabriel placed on the church with a specific purpose that the Lord had: To show evidence of the judgment upon the apostate church, prophesied in the Bible, that He decided to execute because the apostates did not enter God's Rest due to their unbelief, disobedience and they had hardened their hearts because they abandoned the God's Word (Hebrews 3:11-12, 15, 18-19; 4:1-5, 11).
In 2023, God commanded Pastor Gabriel to change this first notice and Bible verse because the Lord had another specific purpose, and the time had come. The Word of God is the instrument of judgment; this is confirmed throughout Hebrews chapter 4, in which the Lord gives a serious warning so that we do not fall into what the generation of Israel did when they perished in the wilderness on the way to the Promised Land. Likewise, in Hebrews 4: 13, the judgment is reiterated, for it says: «And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.» The first notice of Berea was a constant announcement of judgment upon the apostates, who did not want to repent, and God executed the judgment of forsakenness on them; they were cut off, vomited out, and cast out (Matthew 3: 10; Romans 11: 22; Revelation 3:16; John 15: 2, 6). Therefore, the purpose for which the Lord gave this first notice has already been fulfilled.
The notice "Berea Christian Church" has been changed to a new notice that contains a verse that the Lord gave to Pastor Gabriel: «And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.» (Revelation 22: 1). This verse announces the exceedingly great and precious promises (2 Peter 1: 4) that the Lord has given to His children through eternal covenants that the holy Church will receive first. As we can see in the image above, the notice no longer says, "Berean Christian Church" but "Berea: the Congregation of the 7 waters". The Lord gave the pastor this name for two reasons:
1) To leave this name to those who, in the Tribulation Judgment, will receive Christ, will serve Him, will suffer, and will die for the testimony of the King. These people will not belong to the Church but to the congregation of the Lord.
2) The 7 waters (symbolized in the sea) refer to the abundance of the Eternal Word that the Lord has poured out upon Berea church, which has preached, taught, and sung during the 13 years of existence of this ministry that was born in the heart of the King, to whom He gave a great and powerful mission that Berea church fulfilled with the power of the Holy Spirit; this mission has several missions: (a) To teach the God’s Word, the sound doctrine; (b) to preach against apostasy; (c) to announce the coming of Christ for His holy Church; (d) to proclaim the judgments that will follow in the Tribulation ; (e) and to teach the eternal promises, the Kingdom of power and glory, the enlarged empire that will have no end because the holy descendants will multiply forever and ever like a river, the river of worshippers forevermore (Isaiah 9: 7).
